West Bank School of Music is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization that depends on your support to sustain the high quality of its programs and services. Our mission is to transform lives and community through innovative music education and inspiring performances.
You can be a partner in our education and outreach activities by making a financial donation today to help the West Bank School of Music:
Offer scholarships to deserving students and their families who meet our income guideline
Support valuable programs to underserved communities such as the weekly music class we provide for East African students grades 6-8 at the Brian Coyle Community Center on the West Bank
Present engaging and diverse free public concerts by our faculty and students
Program free faculty demonstrations, workshops, and performances at public and charter schools and community centers in the Twin Cities metro area
Build on our historic tradition by developing roots and world music education options for our students including new classes and bands in Dixieland, Drum Corps, African, and Balkan Folk music
Establish new programs like our proposed scholarships for veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars

Mail a check made out to West Bank School of Music at 1813 S 6th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55454
You can also support the West Bank School of music by donating specific items. Currently, the West Bank School of Music needs:
Used instruments of all kinds (including 3/4 sized for young children) that we can give or loan to students who cannot afford to purchase them
Dehumidifiers and humidifiers
Boom boxes that have CD and MP3/IPod capabilities
A laser printer
A copy machine
Manhasset music stands, or equivalent
Laptop computers that we can load with music software for classroom and private teaching
Instrument amplifiers
